I think a lot of people will love this one, especially if the romance works for them, but it was just an okay read for me.

Jess Davis is a single mom and has no interest in this, but her best friend talks her into it. The thought of swabbing your DNA and finding someone who could potentially be a perfect match. Though I'm in my mid-thirties, I've been with my husband since I was a teenager, but I've heard the horror stories from friends and it seems completely unappealing. I am thankful I have never had to date in the world of apps. You can tell a lot about what this story is about by the blurb and if you read it, I'm sure you'll agree the concept seems fascinating. I honestly thought it could be a five star favorite at the start, but there were a few things that just didn't work for me personally. I loved a lot of the characters, the familial aspects, the premise of the story was compelling and I wanted to love this one. The problem is there were so many things I loved about this book. The more I think about The Soulmate Equation the more I struggle with what to rate it and how to review it.
